BOOKHAM HARRISON FARMS SHORTLISTED FOR UK’S SMALL PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Bookham Harrison Farms from Rudgwick, West Sussex has been selected as a finalist following a UK-wide search for the Small Producer of the Year.

Organised by the Quality Food Awards and the Co-op, the award is a celebration of great British food and drink culminating on 9 November with a glittering gala at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

In addition to receiving recognition on a national stage, finalists also have an opportunity to work with the Co-op to secure a listing at a local store.

Organised by Metropolis Business Media, group publisher Helen Lyons says:

“This award represents some truly fantastic benefits for the smaller producers that have entered – ultimately, the winner will be able to work with the Co-op towards seeing their products in their local store, and that’s a really exciting prospect. I’d like to congratulate all the finalists and say that we’re really looking forward to seeing them shine at the presentation day.”

This year finalists for the Small Producer Award will be given a detailed consumer marketing report on their product from VYPR - a unique digital platform that gives FMCG companies accurate consumer insights. There will also be the opportunity to use the prestigious winner’s logo on pack and in all marketing collateral. The overall gold winner will have a day at Cactus Kitchens (the creative kitchen space located above the set of Saturday Kitchen Live and home to The Michel Roux Jr Cookery School) for innovation testing and product development with professional product developers Taste-makers. Winners will also be featured on the Simply Good Food TV app and on qualityfoodanddrink.com.

All finalists have an opportunity to present their products to the Co-op at its Manchester Head Office.
