Not Just a Pasta Cheese

As featured in Delia's latest cookbook and BBC Good Food Magazine. It is made using a vegetarian rennet and matured for 14 months. Slightly sweeter than an Italian Parmesan and can be eaten as an everyday cheese, and is ideal for shaving and grating.


Please note that due to the lack of cutting and packing facilities for Parmesan here in the UK, we have decided to have this cheese made for us under licence in Italy. This cheese is made to our own very high standards and now only travels from Italy whereas before it used to have to go to Italy and back, in order to be to be cut and packed.

This in turn has enabled us to concentrate on the production of our new award winning Susssex Charmer cheese, a cross between a mature cheddar and a parmesan. This is a joint venture with local dairy farmers R. Harrison and Sons, it does not have a rind and therefore can be cut and packed here in the UK. Our Not Just a Pasta Cheese will last 5 months from date of opening and doesn't have to be opened for at least 2 months. It is also suitable for freezing both as a block and as grated, it contains cow's milk, vegetarian rennet, salt and egg protein.

This cheese comes in two different formats 200g & 700g.
